We’ve supported Catholic parishes, nonprofits, and small organizations across the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since 2014. Every project on this page was handled by Daniel Chavez directly — no subcontracted management, no handoff to a junior tech.
Client names are kept private unless we have explicit permission to share them. What we can share is the work itself.
Network Infrastructure & Wi-Fi
Three-Building Campus Network — Southeast LA Parish
A 450-family parish was running on aging consumer-grade routers spread across three buildings — the church, the rectory, and a parish hall. Staff couldn’t reliably share files, the security cameras dropped connection weekly, and guest Wi-Fi for events was nonexistent.
We designed and installed a 14-device UniFi network spanning all three buildings, including a fiber backbone between the church and hall, a managed PoE switch in each building, and a segmented guest network. The system is monitored remotely; the parish hasn’t called about network issues since installation.
Wi-Fi Expansion — Community Services Facility, Boyle Heights
A nonprofit serving formerly incarcerated women needed reliable wireless coverage for a two-story facility being used for training programs and client services. We extended their existing infrastructure with UniFi access points, configured proper coverage overlap, and trained staff on the admin portal.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services
M365 License Audit & Consolidation — Parish Administrative Office
A bilingual parish had accumulated M365 licenses over several years without a systematic review. We audited the full tenant, removed unused licenses, enforced multi-factor authentication across all accounts, configured shared mailboxes for the parish office, and set up OneDrive folder structure for administrative documents. The parish reduced its annual M365 spend significantly.
M365 Tenant Setup — Social Services Nonprofit, South LA
A newly incorporated nonprofit needed a professional email environment from scratch. We set up the M365 tenant, configured the domain, created staff accounts, and helped them apply for Microsoft’s nonprofit licensing program — which reduced their per-seat cost to near zero.
Security Camera Systems
Full-Campus IP Camera Installation — Catholic Social Services Facility
An older facility was relying on an analog DVR system with low-resolution cameras and no remote access. We replaced the analog system with a UniFi Protect installation: 12 IP cameras (indoor and outdoor, 2K and 4K), a dedicated network video recorder, and remote access from any authorized device. A structured cabling run was completed by our installation crew.
Security Camera Upgrade — Eastside Parish Campus
A parish with an existing wired infrastructure needed an IP camera upgrade to replace aging analog units. We integrated new UniFi cameras into their existing network with no new cabling required.
Parish Websites
Website Build & Launch — Bilingual Parish, Southeast LA
A parish was directing all web visitors to a bare-bones page that hadn’t been updated in years. We built a new WordPress site with mass times, sacrament preparation guides in English and Spanish, a staff directory, weekly bulletin archive, event calendar, online giving integration, and a parish registration form. The bulletin is now updated automatically every Friday morning.
Website Management — Ongoing, Multiple Parishes
We provide ongoing website care for several parish clients — plugin and security updates, bulletin uploads, mass time changes, event calendar management, and occasional page additions.
AV Production & Livestreaming
Community Event Recording — Nonprofit Training Program
A South LA nonprofit hosted a multi-day professional training program and needed it recorded for distribution and documentation. We provided multi-track audio recording, video capture, and delivered edited files within five business days.
Liturgical Event Livestreaming
We’ve supported single-camera and multi-camera livestreams for parish events: installation Masses, special liturgies, memorials, and graduations. Streams go live to YouTube or Facebook; archived recordings are available to the parish after the event.
Managed IT Support
Ongoing IT Partner — Multiple Parish Clients
Several parishes in our roster don’t have a dedicated IT person on staff. We serve as their IT department: monitoring network health, managing M365 tenants, handling workstation issues, coordinating vendors, and being available when something goes wrong. Most of our parish relationships have lasted five years or more.
We understand parish culture — bulletin cycles, liturgical calendars, bilingual staff, volunteer-run ministries, and the kind of careful stewardship that good parish administration requires.
We’ve worked with parishes across the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since 2014. If you’d like to talk about what you’re dealing with — technology, website, network, cameras — reach out. No sales pitch, just a conversation.
